Carter and Ellie
February 2, 2008Sorry Amma but there is a new Ellie in town … well at the beach anyway. During our travels to Koh Phi Phi we met a really great family (Mark, Sachi and daughter Ellie). Ellie becames Carter’s new love very quickly and our entire time at our last beach he just kept asking “Where’s Ellie?” She is a few years older and had to put up with this younger boy following her around and checking her every move but she was a real firecracker and she handled it in style. It was sad to leave this morning and say goodbye to them as we really had a great time getting to know them this past week and poor Ellie was all tears this morning when we pulled out on the boat. Broke everyone’s heart. For me it is meeting people that is the best part of the holidays and sometimes you really meet some special people.
Ellie if you are reading this then all I can say “There was an old lady who swallowed a fly .. I don’t know why she swallowed a fly. Perhaps she’ll die.”
