This One’s for Chowie!
April 28, 2007Canucks even the series at 1 win apiece and fanning the flames of playoff fever here in Dalian, China.
Well dear old Mr. Chow over at The Long Road has taken great delight in slamming our dear beloved Canucks and this post is for him. Mr. C. perhaps you should examine the title of your blog and realize that you are truly a Canucks fan - The Long Road refers to the Canucks trip to the Stanley Cup. With the lockout year taken into account the Canucks make a trip every 12 years to the Stanley Cup Finals (in 82 they lost 4 straight, in 94 they lost in the 7th game .. love that progression!). You have very little time to convert before we start burning your effigy.

Are you kidding me!!!! It”s the Ducks all the way.We (well I) want the cup at Cranbrook this summer. Marshall is also a traiter to the Ducks. The long road has a washed out bridge I’m afraid.

Mom and Marshall - you better arrange to visit Gary in Medicine Hat cause that is where Trevor Linden will be bringing the Cup!

Well, I’m so glad to see I’ve stirred up some spirit in you people! Last night’s Canuck loss at home did nothing to sway me to your way of thinking though Brownie!

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother’s keeper and the finder of lost children. Mr. Chow you are one of the lost children … let us help you!

Mr Chow is not one of the lost children. He is one of the enlightened children. One of he annoucers said if your going to kick a tiger in the behind you better be prepared when it turns on you. I guess they were not prepared last night for the MIGHTY Ducks. Heavy on the Mighty!!!

Of course it is embarrassing Brownie; it always ends up that way for Canucks fans! This surprises you? Hmmmm. Very symptomatic of Blindnuckitis, So sorry you have it. Lucky for you Dr. Kev is in the house. Here’s a stat: 4 for 58 on the power play. Ouch! Like ripping off a bandaid isn’t it? You are now that much farther down the Long healing Road. You’re welcome. And Mom, thanks for the support - you are like a breath of fresh air!

I am not embarassed by our fair Canucks but my mother’s behaviour embarasses the family
