Madness In The Middle Kingdom

Viewing Craig’s site and his Dynasty post I started to reflect on some of the poor television viewing habit choices I have made over the years. There are many questionable hours of my youth and adulthood spent in front of a television set but perhaps the winner, or loser as the case may be, is the latenight hours at UBC watching “Charles in Charge” reruns. My roommate at the time whose name coincidentally enough was also Darren thought I was insane - and he was right. So here is my homage to that kooky cast of characters who made up the “Charles In Charge” cast. For fans of the show I am partial to the Powell family episodes rather than the earlier Pembroke family episodes.

By the way Craig I was always a Dallas fan. I remember going to camp in grade 6 and a buddy of mine (Alan Stark) and I doing a rendition of the trumpet theme of Dallas and having the other kids around us actually thinking it was cool (yup - girls too).
